Susanne Blassingille has over 12 years of experience in meetings and event management. Starting her career within the hotel industry, Ms. Blassingille gained invaluable insight into the hospitality industry.

Following her work in the hospitality industry, Ms. Blassingille joined the Swiss Diplomatic Service in 1992 and received extensive training in foreign relations and meeting planning. During her career within the Swiss Diplomatic Service, Ms. Blassingille was stationed in Berne, Switzerland; Manchester, UK; Hong Kong, China; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania as well as Teheran, Iran. She was responsible for the smooth organization of all Presidential Visits, Trade Delegation Visits as well as Art Exhibitions and other important high-level projects.

Upon her return to Switzerland in January 2000, Ms. Blassingille joined AMGEN (Europe) as a Congress Planner where she was responsible for all conferences and meetings in Oncology, Nephrology and Rheumatology. Her work with Amgen provided her with an excellent insight into pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.

In January 2004, Ms. Blassingille joined Physicians’ Education Resource (PER) and later helped create the newly formed company Tiba Oncology where she formed a team that would specialize in client focused meetings such as advisory board meetings, roundtable discussions as well as investigator meetings. Ms. Blassingille’s great attention to customer service has allowed her to create an extensive network of relationships within the oncology space with key opinion leaders and clients alike.

Ms. Blassingille joined Cadence Research & Consulting in April 2010 as a Principal of Meetings, where her expertise in logistics management, relationship management, and audiovisual and materials support make her a valuable asset to the company. Her customer service skills have given her an excellent reputation throughout the oncology market space. Ms. Blassingille is fluent in English, Swiss, German, French, and Italian. Ms. Blassingille ensures that all participants and programs are managed with cultural sensitivity.

Ms. Blassingille holds a BA (equivalent) in Business Administration, earned in Willisau, Switzerland, and a “Proficiency in English” Diploma from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK.
