In her 15 years of experience, Ms. Smith has worked across the healthcare industry in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health insurance and public health organizations. Her expertise is focused on helping companies build a solid understanding of the financial picture for a variety of alternative investment decisions.

These decisions typically consist of patient build up models with NPV analysis for new product profitability, new market opportunities, business development deals, new indications, clinical investments or lifecycle management decisions and competitive threats.

Her prior work includes acting as an Investor Relations Officer at the biotechnology company, Amgen and being the lead financial analyst on a multi billion-dollar product within their Sales & Marketing organization. She previously held a variety of financial roles at the pharmaceutical company, Hoffmann-La Roche and worked within the Medical Affairs Division at Oxford Health Plans.

Ms. Smith received her B.S. from Utah State University in Community Health Education and a M.S.S. in Economics. She holds a M.B.A. from Yale University.
