Dr. Jacobs is a practicing Emergency Physician who acts as the Emergency Department Quality Coordinator of Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland. He is currently transitioning from an academic practice with George Washington University to a private clinical practice in the community.

Dr. Jacobs graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and continued his education at New York University where he obtained his MD. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center in 2001.

He previously worked as Assistant Director and Interim Chairman of a busy trauma center, Prince George's Hospital Center, and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine.
