Stacy Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is currently in a private practice partnership in Northern Utah and Southern Wyoming providing general Ophthalmology care in both the hospital and office setting. Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate work Summa Cum Laude honors with a B.S. in History at Utah State University in 1998. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha and earned her M.D. in 2003 at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City and her residency at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. During this time she completed research in the areas of age-related macular degeneration and primary open-angle glaucoma. She has published in peer-reviewed journals in the area of cataract surgery and posterior capsular opacification.
