QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH |
Quantitative research focuses on the measurement and use of data to describe and forecast accurate market behavior. Given the dynamic nature of the healthcare marketplace and the wide variety of respondents surveyed, great care must be taken in designing the methodology to allow for proper extrapolation from sample to market.
Given the cost, time and design challenges typically involved with a quantitative study, Cadence works closely with each client to determine which methodology is best. Some popular data collection methods include: Internet, phone, large audience, and mail.
Cadence offers a wide variety of quantitative applications including:
- Attitude, Trial & Usage (ATU). These studies are designed to provide a high level overview of the marketplace with deeper dives to track product awareness, attitudes, and usage.
- Market Response. These studies track the market response to emerging clinical data, FDA guidelines, or changes in the reimbursement climate.
- Pre-launch. These studies are often the quantitative second phases following qualitative studies looking into concepts, positioning, messaging, and sales aid. The qualitative phase provides general insight and direction, and the quantitative phase provides additional rigor and tests the appropriateness of extrapolating the findings to the broader marketplace.
- Patient Satisfaction. These studies gauge patient awareness, usage and satisfaction with a product.
- Market Segmentation. These studies assist marketers in properly segmenting markets based not only on the general likelihood of usage but also on the likely point of therapeutic entry.
Our dedicated programmers have significant experience in coding healthcare surveys. They are trained to minimize respondent fatigue and confusion. We can incorporate a wide variety of sophisticated programming logic, pop-ups, and images to ensure that survey is fast, efficient, and gets to the heart of the matter.
